This idea of reaching out to needy widows was birthed by Rev. Lincoln K. Akpaliok when he completed bible college in 2004 and was posted to pastor the Wiaga Assembly of God Church. Rev
Lincoln saw ministry as social service to the communities he was pastoring. Visitation became part and parcel of Rev. Lincoln and the more he visits his congregants the more he encountered abject poverty.
